After the Award: Grant Management and Administration

Offered as a workshop and as a webinar series (four 90-minute webinars)

Grant awards are legal documents. When an organization accepts grant funding, they agree to follow the plan laid out in their proposal and to adhere to the grantmaker’s regulations. How an organization manages their grant project can increase — or eliminate — their chances for future funding.

After the Award: Grant Management and Administration prepares participants to manage and administer government and private grant programs:

  • Get organized to make grant management easier
  • Grant management tools and resources
  • Pre-award preparation
  • Grant reporting
  • Project evaluations
  • Grant audits and site visits
  • What to do when things go wrong
  • Closing out your grant
  • Practice situations
  • Sample reports

This training is intended for managers and staff
with responsibility for grant-funded projects

Offered as a four-session webinar series or as a two-day workshop. Organizations may sponsor this workshop in their community (e-mail us for specifics).

Fee: $400 per participant; one copy of After the Award: Grant Management & Administration and accompanying CD of tools and report samples is included in tuition fee.
