Next Up: Fairbanks Grant Writing Intensive Feb. 17-21

We had an excellent class in Anchorage last week! If you couldn’t make that class, there’s another opportunity coming up: we’ll be offering our Grant Writing Intensive training in Fairbanks on February 17-21, just a couple of weeks from now.

This is a very small class – maximum of 12 students – so you receive lots of personal attention and specific help in planning and funding your project. We “learn by doing” in this class: as we talk about finding funders, you use your temporary GrantStation password to actually search and find funders. As you learn about completing a budget or writing a convincing proposal that reviewers will want to fund, you actually write a proposal and have it reviewed by the instructor, an experienced and successful grant writer.

Students receive a copy of “The Art of Grant Writing: Communicating your Vision to Funders” by Sharon Gherman, Funding Exchange President as part of their registration. This is a five-star-rated book available on and provided to each Grant Writing Intensive student. Also included in the class is a CD of examples and successful proposals – not included in any other Funding Exchange class.

See you at class!
